Suck less as a boss. Suck less as a dad. Suck less as a spouse.

Along the way, I have found a few cool clichés:

1. Leading is parenting; Parenting is leading.

Even if this is not true, it is a fantastic way to think about both tasks.

For example:

How can I set uber high standards to my team/kids and not demotivate them?

2. Don’t prepare the path for the child; prepare the child for the path.

Are you preparing a career path for your teammates? Or are you willing to tackle the much harder challenge and prepare your teammate for his/her path?

Lastly, as for being a slightly less crappy spouse …
